Wink Bingo On TV

Wink Bingo is one of my favourite bingo sites; just about everything associated with the site screams quality. The site itself is well thought out and laid out logically is bright and inviting and appeals to both male and female players alike. The site is informative and helpful without bogging you down in loads of useless information you do not really need to know, everything just seems to be in the right place and easy to navigate.

Wink Bingo run a wide range of games and promotions and there always seems to be something new to entice me back. This week I had a postcard drop though my letterbox advertising Wink Bingo which was a first for me; I have never received anything from any of the other sites I frequent come through the post before. This mail shot was great; it was funny and informative without having to wade through loads of information. If I had not already been a member of Wink Bingo it would definitely have made me join.

So far so good I hear you say but as always there is a but coming and sadly for Wink this is one big but.

Have you seen Winks TV adverts? If you have you probably do not need to read on as you will have seen for yourself just how dire they are. If however you have been fortunate enough to avoid them let me explain the problem.

At the moment there are three television adverts airing, all essentially the same just with a different theme. Based around the slogan “anytime, anywhere” (sure I have heard that somewhere before), they all show a lady playing bingo at an inappropriate moment usually while the male in the advert is doing something more serious.

This view is very sexist, do men not play bingo? The camping advert would have worked a lot better if the husband and run off to play while his wife was slaving away trying to put up the tent in the rain; this would have been funnier and a lot more ironic.

The other adverts all suffer from the same problem, they are poorly produced, poorly acted, poorly made and the whole concept just does not work. They seem dated and more like the adverts that run on regional TV in the middle of the night for the local takeaway.

Come on Wink spend a bit of money and make your adverts as good as the rest of your business, this is one area where you are letting that Sauvé gent of a Fox beat you hand down, YOU CAN DO BETTER!
