Traditional Bingo Brings Some Big Winners

We all love online bingo sites but there will always be people who prefer to pop on a bus and head down to their local bingo club to play the more traditional bingo games. To be honest the nearest I have ever got to traditional bingo is playing prize bingo in the arcades of Rhyl as a kid but looking at some of the big wins that have happened recently I might just have to give it a try.

A 38 year old mum from Oxford has this week won £61,808 at the Gala Club in Oxford; this comes just two weeks after another woman at the same club won £61,900. She was out playing with her mum and Nan when she won the national prize of £60,000, plus the Regional prize of £1,658 and the house prize of £150 after completing a full house in 36 numbers. She screamed so loudly when she realised she had won she made her poor Nan jump. As of yet she is undecided what she is going to spend the money on apart from some new furniture.

A 77 year old pensioner from South Shields has found herself £28,000 richer after hitting it big at a Mecca Bingo Club in Dean Road, South Shields. She says she was shaking so much when she won the club staff had to get her a drink to calm her down. She has being playing traditional bingo at the same club ever since it opened. She started playing four times a week two years ago after her husband sadly died and she found chatting with her bingo friends really helped.

After years of playing at the same Gala Club in Chatham a lucky 53 year old woman from Medway won more then £34,000. She won half of the National Bingo Game prize of £61,860, plus the Regional prize of £3,166 and the house prize of £50. She says the news has not yet sunk in but she pans to use the money to pay off some debts, redecorate her house and buy some new furniture.
