A penny, not a lot in this day and age is it? I mean when I were a lad you could go to the cinema, have popcorn, a drink and still have enough money for a fish supper on the way home. OK OK I am not really that old so maybe it was a slight exaggeration, the most I ever got for a penny was two chewy sweets but you can’t even get that these days; it even costs 10p to erm, spend a penny. I’d received the latest newsletter from Bingo Café letting me know that this Saturday there would be no £1,000 draw but instead there would be special Coffee Cup patterns for £200 minimum prize money, and a curtains game. Basically if you win on a curtain pattern you choose a number and then be in chat at 10pm to claim your prize. You don’t have to be playing bingo just be in chat.
