Sex Sells Bingo

We have all seen the many online bingo adverts showing on our television screens and no doubt you will have noticed that a good proportion of them seem to feature ladies screaming orgasmically when they call bingo. This is understandable, it’s a great feeling when you have a win on the game but whilst we liken the scream to one you may hear or emit in the throes of passion, that’s as far as the sexual references go. However of late we are seeing more sexual references in the world of online bingo, the first culprit is the Joy magazine from Daub Ltd that featured a section on “How Many O’s Can You Squeeze Into An Orgasm – 10 sex tips to drive you both crazy”.

Not something I really want dropping onto my door mat but each to their own. Another example is found on some of the banners advertising another online bingo brand, Tea and Bingo, but this is very tongue in cheek with a cartoony type six pack on an animated banner, this I can live with. However one site, a brand new one launched, called Steamy Bingo appears to be taking the phrase “sex sells” to a whole new level.

As with any new bingo site that launches I rushed over to Steamy Bingo to have a look at what is happening with the new brand and as soon as I landed on the page I thought I had typed in the wrong URL into my address bar. The site has the look and feel, not that I know from experience, of a porn site and a gay porn one at that! The whole front page is awash with semi-clad men, a bed that wouldn’t look out of place in a brothel  and a stragically placed logo over a man’s nether regions!

Now whilst I understand that some women do love a good ogle at a fit body, do they really want it with their bingo? Let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment.
