Neighbourhood Bingo

Bingo for me is about more then just the actual games. Yes I love playing bingo and yes I am addicted to quite a few side games but I also love the buzz of the chat rooms. I love meeting new people and taking part in the chat room games and have made some great new friends along the way. As a man I must admit I also love the fact that most bingo rooms have seven women to every man, bingo is a great place to flirt and chat to some lovely ladies who share the same passion for the game as myself. The problem with this is you never know what part of the country these people are from so when I heard about Neighbourhood Bingo I really thought my luck was in.
Neighbourhood Bingo advertises itself as regional bingo and their tag line is “Meet New Local Friends Online”. I did a quick search and found Wolverhampton-Bingo and it showed 499 players online and I started getting excited, 499 players all in my home city all playing bingo, my potential market for friends and lovers was improving all the time! The home page was showing a list of players who had all won on Wolverhampton Bingo today, there was a section dedicated to local news courtesy of the BBC and it even told me that it was raining outside without me having to move off the sofa; finally I found a new site to call home.
My problem started when I decided to check out what other cities had their own bingo sites, I found London-Bingo, Manchester Bingo, Glasgow-Bingo, Nottingham Bingo; in fact the list could go on forever. I noticed that all of these sites had exactly the same nu mber of players as Wolverhampton-Bingo. I checked the winners list and what a surprise all the names there were the same as Wolverhampton-Bingo, had all of these people won in all of these cities or was I being mislead?
The fact is that this is not regional bingo in any shape or form; all of these bingo sites are just skins of the same networked site owned by Crown Bingo and are all networked using the Virtue Fusion software. Now I have no problem with networked sites at all but why try and mislead people, why make potential players think they are going to be playing on a site with local people when the simple fact is you have no more of a chance of ‘Meeting New Local Friends Online’ on these sites then you do on any of the other (and I must say superior) bingo sites on the market.
