Gala Bingo Players Strike It Lucky

How lucky are you? I don’t mean do you have loads of friends and your health either, I mean how lucky are you when it comes to winning money? Speaking for myself I don’t consider myself to be very lucky, the most I have ever won is £100 and because I had not funded I could not withdraw it but pound for pound I would say I break even.

I wish I had the luck of a couple of people who have recently won some big money at Gala Bingo clubs.

George Carter who is just 20 years old and comes from Basingstoke was playing bingo for the third time ever when he won the national game. The National was worth £60,000 but sadly George had to share it with two other players but he still picked up £20,000 plus the regional prize of £1,004 and the house prize of £120; not a bad win at all.

George who was rendered speechless by his win has booked himself a holiday in Lanzarote to celebrate and plans to use some of the money to have a really good time, with the rest going towards a flat when he gets home.

As lucky as George was though, he has nothing on the 43 year old winner from Cusworth who decided to pop down to her local Gala Club in Doncaster for the first time because her husband was watching the football and ended up winning a whopping £187,000.

The lucky lady who did not want to be named won the Platinum jackpot of £177,048, the Sunday afternoon national of £8,920, the zone prize of £1,007 and the house prize of £185. She actually joined the Gala Club four years ago but only because she wanted to use the loo and the day of her win was the first ever time playing there on a Sunday.

She is going to spend the money on a new kitchen and a holiday and can’t decide what to do with the rest.

So ladies, there is a morale to this story. Next time you husband wants to watch the footy, do not moan at the poor fella and make his life hell, just get your coat on, leave him in peace and head down the bingo or pop on your favourite bingo site because you never know, next time it could be you!
