Bonus Changes on BBNetwork

It was only on Monday that we were waxing lyrical about the great welcome bonus on offer at Crown Bingo; £5 free and available for withdrawal if you accumulated winnings of over £50. However it seems we have spoken too soon because on Tuesday the BBNetwork, of which Crown Bingo is a part, moved the goal posts! Crown Bingo is not the only site affected by this change of heart by the powers that be; Lots of Bingo, Bingo Boogie, Bloke Bingo, Bingolore and Bingo Nation (as well as a few others) are all affected.

The new bonus came into play on 18th May and stands now as £1 free for all new players registering an account and for initial transactions the offer is ‘deposit £10 and get £25 free’. This equates to a 250% bonus and quite a bit of a freebie but is it a better offer than the previous one? Well there is no simple answer really because it’s all down to individual opinion.
Mine personally is that losing the only real ‘free’ bingo bonus in the industry is a complete loss; no other network allowed players to withdraw money without making a deposit and with so many new standalone bingo sites launching this was a unique selling point. The brands now on the BBNetwork (most recent addition Bingos.co.uk) no longer have this to offer the players and return to being ‘same old, same old’.
The email informing us of the change stated that “market research” found that a higher deposit bonus is more “appealing” than a cash match bonus – it’s one and the same thing! This doesn’t justify the drop in their unique offer though and puts the BBNetwork back in the ‘been there, done that’ pile for me.
