What is the history of Crown Bingo ?

Crown Bingo were one of the first online bingo sites in the UK, established in 2005. We have always had bingo as our main focus and along with our great mini games this remains our focus with another two bingo rooms opening last month and another one on the books for release in a couple of months. Crown Bingo are based in the North East and we hope that our Geordie hospitality shines through in the friendliness of our chat masters and customer service agents (OK so we’re not all from Newcastle but we’re all just as friendly!).

Crown Bingo was also recently voted as the 3rd best online bingo site in the UK (2007) by WhichBingo, and our Chat Masters were voted the 9th best in the industry on Cmoftheyear.co.uk. With our nomination as egaming bingo provider of the year coming up this month we must be doing something right

Why did you choose the Virtue Fusion software ?

We have always positioned ourselves as a pure bingo site. Yes, we have great side games but it is the bingo that the majority of our players come back for on a regular basis. Virtue fusion simply provides the best bingo experience in the industry and this one of the main reasons our players are so loyal to the site.

In your opinion what makes a good bingo site ?

Well we pride ourselves on the community we create at our site, valuing each and every one of our players, always looking for more ways we can support and entertain them. This goes a long way towards strengthening the bonds between our members, Chat Masters and Customer Support Agents. These factors are all key to our sites popularity and is why our roomies keep coming back to Crown Bingo week after week.

What do you see in the future for online bingo ?

It can only get better! With more and more sites advertising on TV the awareness of the game will increase massively over the coming months meaning more players and bigger jackpots. At Crown we’re aware that although this is great it will have an effect on the communities on most sites… so we’re working on ways to keep our roomies chatting and making friends, like our facebook group and blog.

What is the largest jackpot won at Crown Bingo to date ?

Funny you should say that! We’ve just had a Winner of our progressive jackpot on Pirate Plunder. JustDreamin aka Lillian Gibson from Carneforth in Lancashire won £17,186 yesterday!! Lillian is thrilled with her win and we are waiting to find out what she plans to spend it on!

Crown Bingo does a lot of charity, do you feel this is important ?

As I mentioned above our main pull on the site is our community and working with charities that are close to the hearts of our members is very important to us. Initially when we started Crown Bingo Charity of the month we asked all of our players to let us know what charity they wanted to support and now that we have a good idea of what is important to our roomies we try our hardest to work with those charities.

Examples of Charity work we have done in the past includes a knit-a-thon for bliss the premature baby charity where our roomies knitted 40 cardigans for premature baby wards in the North East. Vikki and Kirsty from the office ran the race for life with some of their friends in July and raised over £300 for Cancer Research. And we this month we are working with the rainbow trust with a charity bingo night on the 15th September. In total we have raised £1992 for our charities in the last seven months, of which we’re really proud

Why does your live help resemble Simon Cowell ?

Lol! He does doesn’t he! It was based on one of our customer service agents who actually looks like Simon Cowell, so if you get Jason as your customer service agent speak to him about who you think is going to win the X Factor this year!

What does Crown Bingo have planned for the coming months ?

Oooo well that is a question! You will not believe what is coming up in October!! Let’s just say that Crown Bingo will have a new big bubbly character in October challenging Karl Seth for his place as bingo caller! They’re not just going to be a bingo caller though, so keep an eye on Crown Bingo as we have a big announcement to make in a couple of weeks.

And what’s going on at Crown Bingo this month?

Our theme this month is Back To School and in celebration of getting the kids out of your hair we’ve got some great promotions that will help them settle back into it in style!

This months prize draw is for a Dell colourful 1525 Laptop you know those ones on the telly where you can choose own colour! You get one entry per £10 you play.

From the 1st to the 5th September we have been running a Back to School promotion where you can win the following prizes in certain games; £20 Amazon Vouchers for the winners of the 8pm game and CD’s and DVD’s to be won in chat.
