2008 Which Bingo Site of the Year

You may remember a couple of weeks ago I bought you news of 2008 Which Bingo Site of the Year well the results are finally in! This year there has been a record number of votes as the popularity of online bingo continues to grow and more and more players are taking the time to vote and support their favourite sites. I could drivel on now about my own favourite sites but I am sure you would rather find out who has won!

I am proud to announce that (I have always wanted to say that) the 2008 Which Bingo Site of the Year is Jackpotjoy. This great site has moved up from 14th place last year largely due to the large jackpots, superb staff and commitment to producing one of the best bingo sites in an ever expanding market. Jackpotjoy narrowly beat Platinum Play Bingo, Crown Bingo, Bingo Liner UK and Sun Bingo to claim the title. The New site of the year award was picked up by Bingo Playground, the site that offers all new players a choice of first deposit bonus.

Personally I think Tombola Bingo is one of the stars of 2008 as they could so easily have lost focus when Sun Bingo dropped their software in favour of Gamesys. Instead they went all out to promote their own site and have produced a truly excellent package with some of the most fun and innovative games on the market. It is this dedication that has seen them come in at number six in the site of the year beating such big names as Foxy Bingo and they came in second narrowly missing out on the New Site of the Year 2008 title.
